(ABOVE:
THE V-2 ON ITS NEW SPOT IN FRONT OF THE NEW MUSEUM BUILDING)
This V-2 is located on base at Fort Bliss, near El Paso, TX. The Fort Bliss
Air Defense Museum has recently moved. In fact, the old Museum building
has been torn down completely and is now just a vacant space. The V-2 was
moved to the entrance of the new museum, which is located in building 1735,
on Marshall Road. It was refurbished and painted sometime between 2005-2007.
It sits amongst other Army missile systems displays in what looks to be
a parking lot? To get there, enter through the mail gate on Cassidy Road,
then proceed to Marshall Road and turn left.
